Hello, my name is Randolph (Randy) Bartlett.
I am originally from Piedmont, WV and presently living in Keyser, WV. I am a Army Vet, Husband & Father of 3 boys & 2 girls, and 2 granddaughters.
Several years ago, I recall hearing former WVU football coach Dana Holgorsen, state that major colleges don't recruit our local WV youth because when they fly over WV areas all that is seen are trees. Thus, that is why not many local athletes are selected to participate in Division 1 or major programs. Knowing that there are plenty of girls & boys in our area that have the skillset, the abilities, and most of all THE HEART to compete with anyone. They can perform on any level and achieve GREATNESS being from all the places that are so often OVERLOOKED. I want to share those sports stories with the world, told completely by the athletes, parents, and coaches, in their own words. It's their voices explaining their love for the activity, the highlights, accomplishments & future goals!
I enjoy interacting with the students/athletes while they are either practicing or participating in any sport. I will be taking pictures of the athletes & fans throughout my journey (Understand that I'm not a professional, by far) all photos can be found on my page as well as posted to the various Facebook group pages, if possible. Alternatively, I also have images of the numerous other events that I had attended. I hope that everyone enjoys my attempts at being a photographer. I love taking action shots as well as unexpected shots. I believe that some of the kids and their parents enjoy the untraditional photos as well as the sports action. Eventually, I will be adding my ultimate project of conducting interviews of the ATHLETES, Coaches, and of course, the FANS,
